Thought For Today March 31st 2011

Thought For Today

Heavenly Father I approach you at the Holy cross this evening thru the Holy Spirit with the permission of Jesus Christ I come to tell you that I love you and thank you for another wonderful day, I pray that I did not say or do any thing that was displeasing to you and that I did not commit any sin against you today and if I did sin then I ask you to forgive me because I am sorry for them. I come thanking you for the wonderful blessing that you have bestowed on my family and me, I feel so unworthy to receive them, but dear God you know how much I appreciate them.

Dear Jesus please teach me how to pray just like you taught the disciples to pray. Some time now as I pray for some of my friends that have grown old and has incurable ailments and suffering from pain, I can not find it in my heart to pray that they will linger here on earth just to satisfy the love ones that is not ready to give them up to our lord. I find it more pleasing in my heart to pray that the sick person will be content in heart and be free from pain and that they are a born again Christian and they are prepared to meet God. That is my desire for myself when my time arrives, and I believe that I have prepared my family to accept my death with more like a farewell party, with a little reminiscing joy rather then much grief, and I believe they will honor my desires at that time comes.

I am living at an assisted living and retirement home and the most of the people living here have reached advance old age and I guess that the most of them came here as I did to live here until I die.
This is the generation that most of us all have lived thru the greatest depression of the thirties and most have experienced hard times and learned to love and respect each other so living up to our traditional up bringing we fall in love with our new friends and we miss them tremendous when they depart to go live with our lord.

I was just sitting here and thanking how many people living here today March 31st that will never see another March 31st again, and I could be one of them, thank about that you may be one of them as well. How I pray that life on earth would be as God intended it to be. I too was thanking how many great men have sacrified their lives for my freedom that I can sit here write this statement to you. I too was thanking how my savior Jesus Christ loved me so much that he scarified his life for my sins. I was thanking how many of you will wear something Red today just to honor and respect and remember what our troops are doing for us every day.

I am wearing something red today especially to honor two of my good friends in my community that gave their lives in world war-2 and ever other person that has worn a uniform of the United States.

Wear something Red today to honor and respect to all troops.

Thought For Today

A few things that I am thankful for this wonderful beautiful day that the Lord have made so let us rejoice and be thankful in it. It never ever gets any better then that, praise the Lord.

1- I am so thankful that I am sitting here praying and writing six little insufficient thoughts that most people just take them for granted, but to me I call them a miracle from God.
2- I am so thankful that I spent a couple hours in the bath room taking care of my important chores like the three S_S_S_ when it only taken me 15-minutes during my working years, I am so thankful that I have plenty time to do that.
3- I am thankful that my son came over and visited me and brought me some items that my daughter in-law Amanda, had retrieved from the library to listen to the bible.
4- I am so thankful that I was able to cook a large pot of soup and share it to several my friends here and give my son a big pot full to take home.
5- I am very thankful that I have just recently receive word that I am going to be great Grand Pa, and that is my first, I was afraid that I was not going to live long enough to become a great grand father.
6- I am very thankful and excited that I have received a wedding invitation that one of my Grand daughters is getting married in April.

It is a blessing to recognize that we have so many good wonderful things to be thankful for. I hope and pray that everyone realizes that being alive is a blessing and we should thank God for all our blessings that we usually just take them for granted.

Now let me remind you that Friday is April Fools day, it is a day that all atheists should bow down to their God, if they can find a god to worship, they do not seam to know my God and they just kick Jesus out of all functions in our nation such as churches, schools and Christian gatherings. The bible tells us that any one that does not believe in my God they are fools.

2Ki 17:14 Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the LORD their God.
Psa 78:22 Because they did not believe in God, And did not trust in His salvation.
Jhn 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Psa 14:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. THE fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. ---John Davidson GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST

Thought For Today

This is some thing that I am thankful on this day March 28th 2011. This is a spiritual game that my daughter and I have started playing, we choose five statements that we are thankful for; I told her that my life was so shallow and so routine that most of my list of things that I am thankful for would be rapacious. I do have a lot of things to be thankful for but they seam to be the sane things every day. But if we will consternate on these things we can come up a lot of new things to be thankful for. Why don’t you start playing that spiritual game for your own self, by your self, not necessary to have a partner, but it would be good to have a partner, because it would be more interested and share different thoughts.

1- Last night I was awaken with some heavy rain and thunder and lighting, I am so thankful that I could hear the thunder and could see the lighting.
2- I was thankful that I had a good roof over my head and the roof did not leak.
3- I was thankful that I could walk to the lunch room without any assistance of any thing or any body to help me, there are many here that has to have wheel chairs or walkers to get around
4- I am so thankful that even thou many here has help to get around but they have a wonderful attitude and are always jolly and kind to every one they see.
5-I am so thankful that I am able to write a little thought for today for my family and friends.

My thankful blessing may be repeaters each day but they are precious to me so I may repeat them every day. Have a wonderful day.

Thought For Today

I woke up this morning and thanking what should I write about today and I was meditating over what I was reading and studying yesterday and that was 2 Corinthians chapter 13 where Epistle Paul was raking over the Corinthians and all us believers as well. He was telling us to test our faith, he was telling us to take an inventory of our life and analyze our actions are we a true child of God, or are we playing the Christianity game. Have we compromise our faith from light to darkness from right to wrong. Am I walking the path that god has planned for me to take, am I being completely obediently to his will for me each day, is every thing that I do is it to glorify his name or is it some time to make me look good and feel good.

Dear God, when I analyze my self I am afraid that I fall very short for what you expect of me as a born again Christian, but I am striving hard every day to amend my sinful ways, I am weak in faith, and that’s why I need a savior like you dear Jesus to help me and forgive me of al my sins, and help me to stay on your Holy path to heaven.

Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. If we will pick up the cross of Jesus we can stay on the scared path Jesus has designed for us to follow him and that will lead us to heaven. Thank you dear Jesus for being my Savior and forgives me for all my sins. John DavidsonGOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST
