A fool on the dance floor

----- Original Message ----- From: John Davidson To: Raymond Philpot Sent: Friday, August 17, 2012 2:50 PM Subject: Fw: A FOOL On The Dance Floor ----- Original Message ----- From: John Davidson To: Amanda Davidson ; greg Davidson Sent: Friday, August 17, 2012 12:00 AM Subject: A FOOL On The Dance Floor Thought For Today A Fool On The Dance Floor How you like my old rocking chair, I love rocking in the old rocking chair it is so soothing and relaxing to just sit back rocking away all your blues away, if you have any blues, I have very little blues to contend with. Do you rambler how you rocked your babies to sleep so many times. I rocked all three my children and sang to them as well I was not very good but they did not seam to know that I was singing off key, they just suckled to me and went to sleep. I still love to rock; I spend many hours during the summer months rocking and singing if there is no one around to hear me. We have five large rocking chairs in our entrance in our nice carport and we have planted twenty pots of beautiful flowers and the lord has let them grow to help beautify the entrance and with a little help from me watering them they are Georges. What a blessings it is and the great privilege it is to be able to sit there and rock and meditate and talk with my lord savior. It just never gets any better then that. If you want to know what happiness is all about just get your self a rocking chair and plant your self a few pots of flowers and start rocking away. How wonderful it is to come out and start rocking away and tune in to my savior and meditate over what life has been for me some time put in a good gospel tape some time it makes me want to shake a leg. I knew it was a good therapy for me but I did not know that there were so many health benefits for others. I decided to do some research about the health benefits and I found thru their studies there is many health benefits in rocking. The study reveals that it does help patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia it relaxes them soothes their nerves it calms them down. It is found that children and adults as well that suffers with attention deflects hyperactivity disorder. (ADHD) and ADD is able to focus better when rocking in rocking chair. There are many other ailments and conditions that are helped when rocking. Back injuries and pain, arthritis, leg and knee pain, it helps to strengthen leg nerves and relaxes your old feeble mind. So why don’t you start rocking and feel young again, that is what I am doing. I have many afflictions blind in one eye and about two thirds in the other. I am death and can only have a conversation with one person at a time, get in a group I am out of it. I never get hungry for food and I have to force water down but I am hungry and thirsty for the word of God, I spend several hours each day reading the bible on the computer with large print, and high macnifing light I have computer program made by a deceased minister that he spent five years making tapes explaining the complete bible, I love listening to his explanation of the bible. I have a few other affiliations that I will not go in to because I do not believe that any of you are a doctor. Now I know that none of you are interested in my health and ailments but I thought that I would tell you some of my ailments because I am afraid that some of you may have thought that I was unsociably and unfriendly because I stay by my self so much. I really love to party and talk and have fun in all activities and participate all functions, just like today Judy came over to entertain us by singing to us and she is very good but my feet just wouldn’t stay quiet and so I got up and made a fool of my self like I usually do and I got my foot caught in Philpot’s wheel chair and I fell to the floor and pulled my partner down on top of me and neither of us was injured. There is nothing worse then an old man makes a fool of him self on the dance floor unless it is an old fool sitting on their can and do nothing. My Prayer Today

My Prayer Today Gracious God my heavenly father I Neal before you this evening I come praising your name and to tell you that I love you. I thank you for another wonderful beautiful day, ever day to me is a wonderful day because they are days that you hath made so let us rejoice and be glad in it. Some days are better then some other days but and it is because of my poor depressed attitude. I know that it is wrong for me to let Satin enter in to my heart and soul and create a bad attitude and I am working hard to talking to god to help me conquer this sin. It is because my weak faith that I let temptation to enter in to my mind and cause me commits sin. I continue to pray that God will help me to grow in faith until I have as much faith as an mustard seed, then I will have enough power that I can conquer all the mountains in my life. Thank you dear God for the helper Holy Spirit that you have given to me to help me in so many ways ever day and night he leads me and guides me in ever thing that I do. He especially helps me in my little writings, just like this little prayer. Thank you dear Jesus you are my lord, you are my savior, you are my redeemer; life here on earth would not be worth living without your presents with us. I thank you for the privilege to have our conversations every day you can make me feel so good after talking to you. AMEN---AMEN GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST---LET LIBERTY RING FOR AMERICA

No evil spirits in my life

Thought For Today No Evil In My Life No evil or accident will happen to me. Neither shall any sickness come near me. God has given His angels charge over me to always keep me safe. (Psalm 91:10-11) My girding angel is hovering over night and me all day long, the devil cannot touch me, and I am wearing the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit. Jesus Christ has conquered the devil on the cross. I fear no evil for you are with me Lord. (Psalm 23:4) Evil spirits or sickness is forbidden to enter into my body, for the Holy Spirit dwells within my soul. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Greater is the Holy Spirit that he lives in me because he is greater then the whole world. GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST Let freedom ring in AMERICA

Temptation

Thought For Today Temptetion Have you ever been temped to do something wrong I know that you have because we all are temped by temptation ever day of our lives. The question is how do we cope with the temptation that comes before us. Do we fall in to the trap of temptation, I am afraid that I somtime fall in to the temptation because my spirit is strong but my flesh is weak, so I have to pray to my savior Jesus Christ that he forgives me. When Jesus was temped by the devil in the wilderness, Jesus just quoted scripture to him and the devil could not phase him and the Devil vanished away from him. What do you do when the devil aproaches with you with his many temptations. The devil the world and even within ourown hearts are full of all kind of temptations, so maybe we should do what Jesus did and quote scripture to the devil. Or you can do what I do I just acklowledge it to God and ask him to forgige me. Meaning of temptation desire for something bad: a desire or craving for something, especially something considered wrong incitement of desire: the incitement of desire or craving in somebody cause of desire: somebody or something that tempts somebody GOD BLESS AMERICAp---IN GOD WE TRUST

Lords Prayer

Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread. Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Life Of Riley

Thought For Today Life Of Riley O what a beautiful day it is on this 24th day of July and the temperature is approaching 100 degrees, there is not a cloud in the sky and I have been sitting on the patio in my rocking chair and just singing praises to my savior Jesus Christ and thanking him for the wonderful privilege that I have to do what comes naturally to me. I have no worries or any serious concerns or cares just living the life of Riley’s. I have often wondered who was Mr. Riles and when he lived on earth, was he from a foreign country, was he from Rome Italy or maybe he lived here in Rome Georgia. I have tried to research the old original Mr. Riley’s but was un successful to find the first original but I have found many Riley’s back in radio, television and many other means, you could spend the day reading about the Riley’s on the computer, I believe that he originated with our 16th president name Abraham Lincoln, who was the best president that our nation has ever had. I actually believe that he was born in Ireland and moved here in Rome Georgia in the 16th century. I always though maybe that I had many acrostics of Mr. Riley, I believe that he had financial security means, that he was a devout Christian, He loved every one, I believe he tried hard to help all mankind, that is why I try to live the life of Riley. As I sit here on my rocking chair gazing in to the pretty blue sky and admiring my pretty flowers and thanking my Lord for his amazing grace that allows me be so wonderfully blessed, the heat just don’t seam to bother me very much. Mr. Riley never did have it so good. Why don’t you try to live the life of Riley, you can if you will turn your life over to God, his door is always open. God bless each and ever one of you

Thought For Today God Bless Each Of You Heavenly Father I feel so close to you this morning, I just want to be an obedient child of yours, I just want to serve you whole heartily, I want to be an vessel that you use me to help all others to be closer to you, and the only way that I know how to do that is in my little scribbling thoughts and my prayers. I often lay in bed thanking about what I may relate to you in my thought and prayers. I do not want to be like the Pharisees that like to stand on the street corners and use fancy words, I just want to humble my self to you and ask you to bless my family and friends, and I will feel blessed for doing that. This morning I felt so humble and so unworthy and so much like filthily rags that I entered in to my closet and fell down on my knees and closed the door and ask god to lead me in my prayers to teach me to pray as Jesus prayed, I Asked God to bless my family and friends and my self. I do not go in to the closet ever day to pray, I guess that this is the very first time, but it felt so good that I may cultivate a habit of doing that. When you attain in to advance age and have many health problems you become limited in to what you can do in physical activities, but I keep trying to practice perseverance and do what I can to be somewhat activity in life. I hope that some of you may read my scribbling because I do like to have a little contact with good people that still live within the real world. I do not know who reads my thoughts or prayers, I hope that you all do, but I feel that I am pleasing God for sharing some of his word to others. May God bless ever one of you in the name of Jesus. This prayer is prayed in the name of Jesus Christ—AMEN and AMEN John Davidson GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST

A Loving Sad statement It is with a sadden heart that I must write a good bye statement about two of my good Christian friends that have departed from earth and have ascended on to heaven and will live and spend eternity with God in heaven. We hate to say good-bye to them but all believers that are born again Christians know that they are at a better place. My prayers go out for all of their families and relatives that are left behind. I pray that that they will seek Gods Devine grace and wisdom that God will strength them and help them in their grieving journey. One of the deceased one is Eddie Dickinson, Eddie fought really hard fighting cancer but it finally over took him. Eddie was a young man in age; none of us will ever understand why that some young people have to be taken so young. I have asked that question many times, I loss my wife when she was only age 56 years old. My eulogy of Eddie Dickinson My eulogy of Eddie and the Dickinson family goes back to the early 30s back in the little town of Hillwood, when I first got acquainted with the Dickinson family, I knew when Eddie was born I knew his father Tommy Dickinson, and I knew his grand Father as well. I knew Eddies Mother and all of the brothers and sisters of Tommie’s family. I remember Eddies sister Ann Hardman. So I have had a close friendship relationship with the Dickinson family and especially with Eddies Father Tommie, we have work together on many projects thru the year’s employee work community projects, church projects, spiritual projects, and just buddy -buddy relationship. So I know the Dickinson family pretty well, I could probably write a book about the relationship and experience that Tommie and I shared. I watched Eddie grow up as a child, a boy, a teenager, his college years and on in to the corporate world, he always presented him self to be an outstanding leader in all his endives and he was very successful in all his endeavors until this cancer took hold on him. I observe and witnessed Eddie and all of the Dickinson families how they have portrayed their love and Christianity, for our God, I know that many of them have worked in churches schools communities and any other place that needed a helping hand. I know that Eddie must be rejoicing and having a family reunion in heaven because he has many family members have gone on before him. I have a special prayer for his lovely wife Helen that has stayed beside his side and have nursed him and ministered to him and loved him and took care of all his needs in thru his battle of journey for surviving. ---John Davidson

It is always sad to say good-bye to a friend that has gone to meet their creator but it becomes harder when you have a long life acquaintance and friendship relationship with them as I have had with Eddie Dickinson and Mary Rogers. These two individuals will be missed with every one that knew them. I know that both of these two people were devout Christians and portrayed them selves to be a leader in their community. When I reminisce and thank of them I will thank God that I had the privileged to have known them. My prayers go out to all their families that are left behind their love ones will need prayers to help them in their grieving journey, I will include them in my prayers. God knows their names and will help them and sustain them in their grieving journeys. Thank God for good people—John Davidson GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST

My Toast To You Dear Hunt, I am sorry that I am not there for attending your wedding, but due to my old age and many of my health afflictions, it is better that I did not try to make the long trip there. But I will be there in spirit with you. I know the wedding will be a beautiful event that you and your bride will remember and cherish for the rest of your lives. I pray that you and your bride will have a long wonderful happy successful relationship as a Father and Mother together. I believe that you will because I understand that you both are devout Christians, that is the secret of a happy marriage. I hope that the wedding ceremony will be like a big pot of boiling water that two individuals will join hands together and become one flesh, like two pretty potatoes being put in boiling water and cooked then been mashed together like cream potatoes you can not tell one from the other. Congratulations to the beautiful bride and the handsome groom. Your Grand PA Davidson

My Thought For Today The Beauty Of My Hiding Place This is Sunday morning June 24th 2012 and another day is a dawning and I pray that it will be a beautiful wonderful day and I believe that it will be because this is the day that the Lord have made so let us rejoice and be glad in it. I have awakened fairly early for me this morning because I have developed a new schedule of doing all things since retirement. I really enjoy doing things not planed or un routine like getting up just when I feel like it, eating breakfast just when I want to they bring my breakfast to my room each morning and put it in my little kitchen and I throw it in the microwave to warm. I go to bed just when the notion strikes me. Most every morning I awake and have a long talk with Jesus and mediate over previous life and also future life here at Renaissance. I enjoy trying to write a little thought for today and this morning I was laying here and meditation over the past week. I was thanking that it was a typically routine week nothing particular exciting gone on just enjoying life to its fullest. One day I came by my patio and sat down and relaxed and was admiring my beautiful flowers as I usually do so frequently and I was having a chat with Jesus and as I sat with Jesus and admiring my flowers and looking out and observing the beautiful sky and the beautiful construction of the new wing of our large facility here at Renaissance. As I admire all the beauty of my new home and I was thanking God for his wonderful blessings he has bestowed on my family and me. As I sat there admired all the beauty before me and it brought to my mind dear God I am already living in heaven here at Renaissance, and I was wondering how wonderful much more heaven will be when I get there. Fathers Day Prayer Heavenly Father, when I start thanking of or about my earthly Father I start thanking of you dear God, because you are my earthly and heavenly father and you will be my eternal father in heaven. With out you there would not have been a fleshable father and I would not be here. I thank you dear God for being my eternal Father and I thank you for my wonderful earthly Father that you give to me. My earthly Father was mot a large man in size but he had a heart of gold. He was not a highly school educated Father but he had wisdom as a genius, he loved his heavenly Father, and he loved his family and he taught us right from wrong, he displayed his Christianity before his whole world. I know that he installed that wisdom in me that I could pass that Christianity on to my family. I thank you dear God for your wisdom that you have passed on to my family and me. I am so grateful dear God that I feel that I have been a good Father and I feel that I am passing this knowledge on to my children, and that they will pass that on to their children. Dear God I have made many mistakes, I am certainly not perfect, but I do want to be a good Father, I want to be a good Christian child of yours. I praise your name dear God for letting me being a Father on this earth of yours. Have a wonderful Fathers Day Children; I love you all very much. --- Your Dad
