Holy Spirit

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit, can you feel it working within your heart mind and soul leading and guiding you in every thing you do. If we are a born again Christian then we are a new creation and old things have passed away and we should have Holy Spirit.
Read scripture 2 Corinthians 5: 17--
Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Our old bodies are sort like an automobile gas tank we get a little lax in activating and using the Holy Spirit, like the gas tank gets a little low in fuel we have to go back to the service station and gets it refilled, so when we let our Holy Spirit get little low we have to go back to God to be refilled.

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
John 3: 1

The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. John 3:2

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. ISA> 57:15

Thank you Dear God for your wonderful helper the Holy Spirit, I could not survive life here on earth without his presence in my life. I have to be refilled ever day with your spirit.

I will offer a group prayer to our lord tonight and ask him to showier each of you with his wonderful blessings.

With Faith You Can Do Every Thing

With sufficient faith we can do every thing that God wants us to do here on earth. God has promised us that we can conquer sin in our lives, we can climb the highest mountain in our lives, we can crewel out of the deepest valleys, we can swim the deepest ocean, there is nothing that we can not do if we have complete faith in Jesus. If we have complete faith we can heal our own bodies of all illness and diseases. We can be vicarious in all of the little insignificant problems of our life. Read a couple bible events that God proved that he does what he promises.

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Hebrews 11:11

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
16 And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
Judges 15:15:16 –Wear something red today. —GOD BLESS AMERICA

Being Like Jesus

2 CORINTHIANS 4:17-18 NLT
17 for our present troubles are quite small and won't last very
long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that
will last forever!
18 So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now;
rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the
troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will
last forever.

God designed us in their image to be like his son Jesus; he wanted us to be like brothers and sisters and be obediently children of his family. I am afraid that the most of us have disappointed him at lot of the time, but maybe it is not too late yet, if we will wise up and repent of our sins and change our attitude and we can become just like Jesus before we die.

We all have trials and tribulations here on earth and that causes us to be disjointed and irritable some time and that makes us do things that is displeasing to god, but if we will just turn these cares to God he will help us with them. Most of our problems are just temporarily and with Gods help they will go away. Dear God help us all walk the sacred path with Jesus.

Have a wonderful day and may God bless, stay close to God today and you will have a wonderful day. Friend John Davidson

Thought For Today

Faith Hope Love;

All three of these words are very important but love is the greatest one of the three. All three of these come to us thru Jesus Christ from the cross. God loved us so much that he sent his son to die for our sins. If we had faith as much as mustard seed we could move mountains or walk on water or make pure wine out of pure water. The death of Jesus gives us hope for life in eternity. If we are a born again Christian we should have all three of these qualities, and we would have a paid ticket to heaven. If you do not have these qualities you can ask Jesus for them because he is cable and willing to receive you as a child of his.

Thank you dear God for a wonderful day, I pray that I did not do anything or say anything that was displeasing to you, if I committed any sin against you forgive me because I am sorry for them. I lift my family and friends and ask you to bless them and provide them for all there needs and give them happiness and contentment, heal their sickness according to your will for them. I ask these favors from you in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. AMEN—John Davidson

Thought For Today

The day after Jesus Arose from the tomb.

What did you do to celebrate the victories event of Jesus coming out of the tomb and showing him self to many proving that he was alive and that he had conquered death? Did you do something to prove to yourself and to God that you love Jesus for all the things that he has done for us in the past and what he does for us ever day now. Did you have a personal family devotional Sunday morning before going to church; if you didn’t then I believe you were relaxed in you obedience to Gods will for you. I do not want to be to critical because I know that some have to work and could not go to church and some have family responsibilities did not permit you the time to have devotional, but if you just use these excuses for not doing your obligations to God, then may God have mercy on your poor soul.

Now if you failed on these obligations yesterday, say a long prayer and ask god to forgive you, it is not to late today, but if you wait till to tomorrow it may be to late. Every one that reads this statement is in my prayers. I had a glorious day praying studying the word of God, had devoting in my room by my self, I did not go to public church, my room is my church now. I did have a couple sermons on T V and on my computer. I also had an hour sunbath in the beautiful sun, also had an hours nap in the afternoon, It don’t get any better then that. May each of you walk the path with Jesus today? GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST

Thought For Today April 22nd 2011

Thought Of Today:

This is Good Friday Meditate in you mind today that Over 2000 years ago that Jesus hung on that old rugged cross for your sins, and mine and he will be laied in a tomb this evening, and Sunday morning he will arise.

Paul is explaining to us the resurrection of Jesus Christ in 1st Corinthians chapter 15. Without the resurrection of Jesus we have no hope for life in heaven or eternity, the resurrection is the gospel, the basis of Christianity comes from the resurrection of Jesus.

COR.15: 3-15

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

Morning prayer April 21 :2011

Dear Heavenly Father:

Heavenly father gracious God I come to you this morning thanking you for a wonderful nights rest and sleep, I come thanking you that a new day is dawning and I hope it will be a another wonderful beautiful day just like it was yesterday. I have already had a long conversation with all three of you God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, I told all of you that I am able willing to do what ever you wish for me to do today to glorify and praise your name, I am at your disposal. Thank you for your wonderful blessings that you do for me ever day and thank you for your continued blessings that you bestowed on my family. Please lead and guide me thru out the day to live within your will for me.

I ask your blessings on all of my friends and neighbors that they will have a wonderful beautiful day. I know that some of my friends have serious ailments and silliness, I lift them up to you dear God and ask you to minister to them and relieve them of all of their pain. Heavenly Father I ask these favors in the name of my savior Jesus Christ. ---AMEN

Mary And Joseph --- Mat. 1- 18:--25

What a wonderful group of scriptures being related of Mary and Joseph of the pregnancy of our savior Jesus Christ. If you were a young girl and some one approached you and told you were progeny and you were going to have a baby and she had never been with a man, can you imagine how you would have felt at that time, but Mary knew this was a message from God, so she was obedient to the message.

Poor Joseph, I do not know what I would have done if it had been me, I hope that I would have done like Joseph, but Joseph had a message from God so he acted on the advise from God. I thank God choose Mary and Joseph to be the parents of my savior Jesus Christ.

Please read these eight bible verses and thank God he choose Mary and Joseph to be the earthly parents of Jesus, then thank God that he choose your parents to be your earthly parents of you.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. Say a prayer for all AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST. John

Easter Celebration 2011

EASTER CELEBRATION

This story written by John Davidson for the Easter April year 2011

How are you planning to celebrate Easter, are you planning to do any thing special celebration for Easter. Are you just planning to color some eggs and hide them and let the children look for them, are you just going buy some pretty colored rabbits and set them around where they will look pretty. Well if that is all you are planning to do then you are going to miss a wonderful blessing because Easter is much more then coloring eggs and hiding them. All those things are pretty and very enjoyable and those things are admirable. But Easter is much more then that it is the celebrating of the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ.

Easter represents the day that our savior Jesus Christ arose from the tomb after he had been crucified on the old wooden cross, and he spent three days and three nights in the tomb. Jesus volunteered to scarified his life to pay for our sin debt. We owe him our life to him because in his death and resurrection he gave us hope for life on earth and life in heaven for eternity.

Every child should be taught the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by the time they enter to school by their parents. Then every adult and every parent should have been taught and learned the Jesus resurrection story as it is told in the gospels. Then we would not be experiencing the sad sinful corruption that exists thru out the world now if we would study and learn the story of Jesus Christ, because he stills lives.

The death and resurrection story of Jesus Christ is such a tremendous love story that everyone should want to know him and trust him and love him and want to know everything that he did for us and what he is doing for us every day.

The glorious week prior to Easter Sunday is such a religious celebration week for our savior Jesus Christ. I will celebrate it every day of this week, even if I have to celebrate it by myself. In fact I do not mean to boast but I have been studying and researching all the events that leads up to the crucifixion and beyond for the several weeks. What a glorious feeling it is to be an 89-year-old man that has the faculties to be able to read and study the holy word of God.

In my study and research I have learned that Lent season starts at Ash Wednesday and this year is March 9 th and ends at Palm Sunday which is April 17th, this year and which is the first day of Holy week, which ends with Sunday Easter day which is this year is April 24th. I have been studying and researching information for several days trying to prepare my self to properly celebrate the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ, for which he so richly deserves. I believe that every person and especially every Christian should prepare them selves to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and trust in him and then they will be prepared to receive Jesus Christ when he returns to earth to collect his saints.

The Lent season is really a lot of sufficient Christian information to observe preparing your self to trust and love our savior Jesus Christ. This season last forty days and I have found that the figure forty is recorded in 145 verses in the King James Version bible and describes many events in the bible. Just to mention a few important ones.

1- Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness fasting and being tempted by satin.
2- Mosses spent forty days on the mountain chiseling the ten commandants on stone.
3- The Israelites spent forty years in the wilderness after leaving Egypt and God fed them mania (bread) for the forty years.
4- Jesus spent forty days on earth after leaving the tomb and before he ascended in to heaven.
5- It rained on the earth for forty days and forty nights in the flood.

There are many other important scriptures describing many important events. There are many many things that we should learn and observe during the forty-day season of Lent to Palm Sunday to help us prepare our selves for the resurrection and serve our savior. The season of spring arrived to us this year for us on March 20th and spring indicates new life and makes us change our attitude it should change us from darkness to light. The bible tells us that there is no darkness for us if we will walk with God. The bible teaches us that we should have spring-cleaning of our soul and rid our homes with leaven. Leaven represents sin and evil. Notice that the word leaven is spelled just likes the word like heaven just replace the first letter “H” instead the letter “L”. I give thanks to God for his wonderful glorious grace that he has given to me that he has allowed and helped me to study and learn so very much about this resurrection season of my savior Jesus Christ this year.

We come on to Holy Week; Holy Week starts at the end of Lent season on Palm Sunday, which comes to us this year on April 17th. We could write a long story about Palm Sunday and the following days of Holy Week but I want go in to all the happenings that occurred on this wonderful week but I will have to relate a few of the most important occurrence that I feel that has to be told.

Jesus sent a couple of his disciples to go in to the village and pick up a small animal called a colt, some writers calls the animal a donkey, but the word donkey is not recorded in the KJV bible. This colt had never been ridden before. The disciples brought the colt to Jesus who was on the Mount of Olives. I agree with the many writers that use the word donkey sounds better then the word ass but the word ass is recorded 80 times in the KJV bible, lets tell it like it is.

Jesus mounted the little colt and descended from the Mount of Olives, going to Jerusalem and a multitude of Christians surrounded him and followed him in to Jerusalem, they paved the road with their coats, robes and other garments and cut palm limbs and palm leaves to cover the path that traveled. There was much excitement and celebration singing the song loud hosanna, to our king.
Jesus humbled himself by riding the puny small colt into Jerusalem, He clearly showed that he was not political or military minded. The people welcomed him with shouts of hosanna to the king. People acclaimed him to be the Messiah and” son of David” He truly was the Son of God; he was God in flesh while on earth.

On Thursday evening of Holy Week Jesus met with all his disciples in the upper room to eat a Passover meal. I am not so sure that was a Passover meal because Passover day would have been the day that Jesus died. But it seams that they had Passover feast meals all during the Holy Week, so it could very well have been a Passover meal. Any way it was the last supper that our lord Jesus ate before they crucified him “ THE LORDS SUPPER “ I have been a little knowledgeable of the Lords supper for many years but in my in dept study this year; I Have learned so very much more how Jesus loves and cares for us and died for our sins.

The Lords supper is the most important supper that has ever been served to any group of people on earth. Jesus was the keynote speaker and only had the twelve disciples in attendance, and the news has traveled thru out the whole world but I am not sure that the message has been received and accepted by all. Thru my study this year I feel that my Lord placed me into the upper room with Jesus and the disciples in my minds eye and ears I saw and listened to everything that was said. There have been many big dinners and big suppers since that night but there has never been one that equaled that one; our Presidents and others have served many larger and more expensive but the impotent’s has not compared to the Lords supper, and don’t you forget it. They sat down and while they were eating Jesus stated to them that one of them would betray him. They all were exceedingly and scornful and asking Jesus is it I, and Jesus stated that the one that dipped his hand with me in the dish would betray me. Judas who was the betrayer asks Jesus is if I master, and Jesus answered him you have said it. The disciple all appeared to be confused and not understanding what Jesus was explaining to them. I then was more confused then the disciples and not really understanding what Jesus was telling us, especially when he took bread and blessed it and broke it gave it to the disciples and told them to eat it that it was his body. He then took the cup and gave thanks and gives it to them and told them to drink it, all of you. For this is my blood of the new covenant, which this is shed for many for the remission of sin. I stayed confused until I studied the word of God and learned what Jesus was all about.

Jesus is the bread of life without Jesus there is nothing worth for living for. Without him we are doomed to hell. Jesus is the bread sent from Heaven. There are 330 verses recorded of bread in KJV bible. It is no wonder that Jesus choose bread and water and blood to describe him self to us. Jesus is the word of bread, it is the basic food that keeps us all alive and gives us strength and it is spiritual food to feed our soul. That is the only food that we eat at every meal in our lives. God fed the Israelites manna (bread) in the wilderness thru mosses for forty years. Jesus fed the five thousand men plus women and children, and he fed the four thousand men and women and children. God created bread to feed these people the same way he did when he created heaven and earth in the beginning.

Some bread scriptures

1- For the bread of God is which is cometh down from Heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:33

2- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that beneath on me shall never thirst. John 6:35

3- I am the bread of life. John 6:48

4- This is the bread that cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. John 6:50

5- I am the living bread, which came down from heaven: If any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I could write a book about the glorious things and the horrible things occurred during this week of Holy Week leading up to the crucifixion of our savior Jesus Christ, and what a glorious feeling and excitement on Sunday morning that our savior had arisen and still lives today.

Please read and study about the crucifixion of our savior.

A campaing statement

My Thought Today

This is a statement that I composed back in the last presidential election and as reading again tonight I do not see any improvement of the affairs of our nation and we start talking about another election for our president, let us pray that we can find some one that will serve us and fix our sick nation, We may have to elect Jesus Christ before we can get it fixed right. If all Americans would turn every thing back to God then everything would be all good and right so let us elect Jesus as our savior. This will not help the situation or help correct the problem but I hope you will read it any way. -John

Statement to my good friends at
Renaissance Facility

First of all I am not a preacher and I am certainly not a politician. I am an old man that is scarred to death about our wonderful nation that is about to collapsed in to another depression, which may equal the great depression in the year of 1929 and it lasted at least thirteen years. I was fortunate enough to live and endure that depression and I tell you, it was very hard for my family and me and I do not want to see another one in my lifetime. I know that the most of you here at Renaissance have lived thru the depression just as I did.

We have a very corrupt US government most of our congressmen and senators are crooked and evil as satin him self and president Bush is right in there with them.
The two presidential candidates have not indicated and prove to the nation that they can do any better. I believe that there is many people of our great nation have developed in to a sinful corrupt lifestyle. It appears that we have climbed in to the pig pen and wallowing in the slop trough with the hogs.

It appears that America has shunned the Christian religion and lost all love and respect for each other and has the attitude of dog eat dog. The congress and senators have shunned all of their Christian religion, they do not care and respect any thing is good for the American people. They do not practice Christian religion they practice their Democratic religion or their Republican religion. They cannot pass a bill without putting their favorite perks or their HOG slop bucket in it.

The media or television public cannot have an intelligent conversation they have to have one or two people from each of the different parties and they all talk at the same time and they act like grammar school kids, they sound like pure idiots. It looks like they go out and pick jerks from the street, just like we picked our two presidential candidates.

I get so disgusted watching television with them trying to interview a coupe jerks or a group of idiots of mixed party people, the master ceremonies or the interviewer seams to think that it is entertaining to the public letting the contestants act as fools talking at the same time and laughing for what they have said.

As I observe and watch our government and television people so called educated people, showing their butts in public. I predict that if they do not wise up and change from their sinful wicked ways and repent from their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their savior, they will develop in to a civil war between them. I believe then the Christian religion will declare war on the both Democratic and republican religion and the Christian religion will be victories and then the Christians will have a great revival.

It is shame and disgrace that I have witnessed this great nation within the last twenty years goes to the dogs. I have witnessed the middle class white man been swept under the rug and treated like a second-class citizen. I could have a little bit more to say about this and give some of the reasons but I will just leave this here and let you to fill in the blanks.

I probably will survive and endure another depression because I had enough experience thru the last depression years, just as most of you did and with our advanced age it will not effect us as it will our children and grandchildren. Let us pray that our lord will intervene and heal our land and let us not have a depression. The bible tells us in 2-Chronicles 7:14,NIV, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble them selves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.

Let us all pray that god will lead us and guide us to pick the best man to be our leader and president for the next four years, that god will use this person to be a vessel to put our nation back on track and turn our nation back in to a Christian nation.

It may be that our lord may be trying to get our attention and is going to persuade us to get down on our knees and let us know that he is still in control. When we observe and witness how everything that has been happening within the past few years, it makes us wonder what is god up to. It may be that he is telling us to get ready and prepared for his next trip to earth. I am not sure that Jesus would feel welcomed to come in the state of affairs just now.

Even thou it will not bother me as much as it will my children and my grand children, because at my age I am just marking time and treading water waiting for my Lord to pluck me on to heaven. I pray that you all here are prepared to welcome our lord when he comes.

Crowns in Heaven

I do believe that there will be crowns for us in heaven the bible tells us there will be many different crowns for us both here on earth and both in eternal life in heaven. I will
Mention a few Crowns recorded crowns of righteousness, love, salvation, life, and glory, incorruptible. Apostle Paul stated that he believed that there would be a crown of righteous for him and many others in heaven.

My Interpretation dream of heaven is that we will have choices in heaven with all the sin and corruption erased. I believe that Jesus will be completely in charge that he will be king in our hearts, I believe he will be available to advise us and help us if we need any advise, I believe that we will have things to do under Jess’s supervision. I do not believe that we will have wings like an angel and fly around all day. I believe that we will know our relatives and friends, I believe that we will be able to jump and run just like we did here on earth, I believe that we will be able to choose our own home a mansion or log cabin, I believe that we can have beautiful flower garden or a vegetable garden. I believe that we will have many tabernichle to meet and praise Jesus and serve him and our heavenly Father. I believe that there will be all kind of streets lined with pearls and gold and roads and I will choose a dirt road near a crooked creek. Do you want to come live with me in my dream heaven place?

GOD BLESS AMERICA---IN GOD WE TRUST--John

1 CR. 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
Phl 4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, [my] dearly beloved.
1Th 2:19 For what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? [Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Jam 1:12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

So whether you need encouragement in trials and tribulation; or whether you just need to know what God has to say about a subject; get your Bible down and start reading. I believe you will find the answers you are looking for there !

Subject: The BIBLE
Did you know that when you carry "the Bible", Satan has a headache, when you open it, he collapses, when he sees you reading it, he loses his strength, AND when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can't hurt you!
The bible is your best security protection that you can have to have any harm imposed on you. If you will read and study the word of God and act on his word, you will never be attacked by Satin, because Gods guarding Angels will be right by your side and will protect you from all harm.
How many minutes are you reading your bible each day of ever day, is it less then thirty minutes, then your security system is broken and you may be attacked with Satan or some other ill spirits, may I encourage you to read and study your bible as long it is needs to keep your security system in good working order. Have a good day, may God bless each of you. —John Davidson

Request for prayer for Raymond

Special Request

Prayer Request

May I ask each of you to say a prayer for my good friend Raymond Philpot, he is one of the first persons that I met coming to Renaissance, he is a devout Christian, and he enjoys life much more then an average person, when he enters a gloomy room, the whole attitude changes to joyful mood. Raymond and I have been best friends from the first day and we have had many serious conversations and have shared a lot of many things together in our conversations that we do not share with many people, we shared many family secrets, many religious experiences, we have even cried together, so you can understand why I am so concerned.

Most of the times in my latter years I do not pray for complete healing for my elderly friends, I pray that they are born again Christians that they are free of pain and are content, I ask god to treated them according to his will for them. I am praying the same prayer today for my good friend, but he is going to be ninety-nine years old come next May and I have promise him that I was going to put on a huge birthday party for him on his 100 birthday.

Raymond was doing the jitterbug the other week and fell and broke his hip and his surgery was fine but while being in the hospital he has developed kidney problems. Actually I just threw that jitterbug coment in there he actually y did fall and broke his hip, but that is the way Raymond and I kid at each other. He is a wonderful man and I have privileged to be a friend of his for the past six years. I pray that he will overcome this serious problem, if it be Gods will for him, thanks for reading my request. ---John Davidson

Who Is In Control of this world?

Our Heavenly Father is in control of this wonderful beautiful world he has it in is hands, even thou it sometimes looks like that Satin has some control of it. God does give Satin limited authority to pester us believers and gives the devil authority to convince the unbelievers to stay away from God. The true believer has his faith sealed within and the devil cannot penetrate his faith. God gave the devil to attack prophet Job and the devil pestered him with every trick ever known to him and he could not convince Job to fade away for his faith to God. He keeps pestering us believers but a true believer will be like Prophet Job we will not fade from our faith.

I believe that there is an undeclared war between believers and Satin and right now it looks like Satin has the upper hand but I believe that we believers will be victories because God is own our side. I believe that the apostils of Jesus Christ did what Jesus directed them to deliverer it to futherest corners of the world. And I believe us believers will get reinforcements from our heavenly father and we will be victories.

I believe that the devil has been successful in promising our leaders all the things that they want and can have for being corrupt and sealing and I believe that the corrupt leaders will soon be replace with God fearing God born again Christians leaders and then the nation will follow the good leaders.

Yes God is still in control and every thing is going to be well again some day, let all Christians pray every day that that day will soon be sooner then later.

EPH. 6 : 10: 11:12:13:14; 15:16;17;18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the wordPraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; of God:

Prayer For Dorothy And Marion Mull

Dear Dorothy And Marion Mull:

Heavenly Father I come to you this evening to lift up my good friends Dorothy and Marion Mull they are sadden over the loss of Dorothy’s brother that has gone home to live with his Lord. Her brother was living far away from Dorothy’s home and their physical health is such that they do not think that it is advisable for them to make the long trip to attend the good-by services, so that further saddens them. I pray that you will strengthen them and extend to them your compassion love and help them thru their grieving journey. I know that Dorothy has been so wonderfully blessed to have had a large family ten brothers and sisters to live with her and now she is the only surviving member of this large family.

Here is a couple comforting scriptures that nay help you thru your grieving journey, may God be with you and bless the both of you.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under theheaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted, ECC. 3: 1
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Tim. 4:6

Does our Lord ever get irritated at us?

Do you believe that God some times gets irritated to us?

And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; John 2:15

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.John 2:16

I believe that he gets pretty irritated at us when we are disobedient to his will for us, when we do not trust him, when we do not serve him and not praise him as our savior and master. I am surprise that he doe’s not take the whip to us and give us thirty lashes, well maybe he is doing that to us right now, when we observe all the things that is going on in our world ever day, with record breaking facilities flooding, tornados, snow storms, earthquakes, and many other things, that he may be popping his whip at us and we can not understand his warnings.

God works in many mysterious ways so we should get on our knees and praise him and thank him and repent of our sinful ways. To me our sinful nation has already surpassed Sodium and Gomorra when he destroyed them.

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Ch 2 7:14

God Is Interested In you

God is interested in you weather you are a Christian believer or a loss person because he wants the very best for you here on earth. He loves you and gave his life for your sin debt. H e wants you to be one of his chosen children. He is your heavenly Father whether you realize it or not, and like a good father he wants the very best for you and he has prepared a good book to instruct us how to be a good obedient child and live within his instructions that describes in his good book.

Our God is in control of ever thing that works or happens on earth or heaven. After all he is the one that created it all just for his own glory. So every thing that we do it should be for his glory. God has given us a free mind to make choices, we can choose to be obedient to his will, or we can serve the devil, it is our choice.

God is interested in every choice that we make, he wants us to make good choices and he is willing to help us if we will just call on his name for his help. He wants us to choose him to be our savior and master instead of Satin. God wants us to consult him on ever decision we make small or large, he is willing to advise us and help us to make the very best decision for our lives.

Read and study his book of instructions, called the bible and you will be a child of Gods and he will be proud of you and you will be proud of your own self, and all Christians would be happy for you.

Gazing at the stars

Have you ever laided down on your back in the dark night and gazed at the beautiful stars and wondered how many that there are in the elements, what a beautiful picture they are to watch them sparkle and watch them shooting across the sky, o what an artist my god is to create so much beauty for his children to look at and admire.

What an awesome God we have he is not just an artiest he is a mathmeteshing as well and he is a master of all other endives. He knows the number of the stars in the sky and he named each of them, he knows the number of the hair on your head and there is nothing else that he does not know, he knows who trusts him and who has rejected him.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Mat. 10:30

But there shall not an hair of your head perish. Luke 21: 18

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12 :7

Wherefore I pray you to take [some] meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. ACT. 27 :34

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also. GEN. 1:16

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. Gen. 15 :5

Our God knows every thing that is, or has been or any thing that will ever be, he is an awesome God, let us praise his name. —John

Are you a basket case ?
Are you in a state of complete helplessness ?
Has everything got to be just perfect around you or you aren't a happy camper ?
If everything isn't about you, does it make you have a bad day ?
Are you one that loves to sing the song by Toby Keith - I want to talk about me, me, me ?
If this is your situation - God has got some answers for you that will seriously improve your life. We are becoming a nation of basket cases - everything has got to be "just so, so" for people nowadays or they just aren't happy. That is about the definition of a basket case the way we use it today. Originally the words basket case meant someone who lost their limbs in a war - but now it's used for folks; that everything has got to be "just so, so" for them to be happy and productive.
The Bible tells us about the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13 Php 4:11- Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. KJV, that he had learned how to be content in whatever state he was in at the time. He had learned how to abound and be content, as well as how to be abased and be content. The Apostle Paul found himself in a lot of bad situations in his life, shipwrecked, stoned, imprisoned and beaten - but he still was able to overcome it and keep his chin up. He knew that it all would work together and be beneficial to him in the end. He could accomplish all things through his Lord, Jesus Christ. He could be happy in all things, he could be content and satisfied with whatever would come, because he had Christ as his strength. It didn't have to be about him all the time, it was about his Lord. Paul definately was not a basket case !
Let's be honest with ourselves, when everything has to be just so, so - isn't that really a sign of selfishness, childishness and being self absorbed ? A basket case could be no more than a helpless, selfish, childish person; one which everything has to be about me, me, me. Learn to be content with whatever life sends you and you will learn to be strong.
Why don’t you make a copy of this and read it ever so often, I have made a copy of it for myself and maybe it will help me be more content-John

Statement Of Forgiveness

Thought For Today

It is so often that the most of us let little insufficient things dwell in our hearts when we should for give the perpetrator and we would feel good and Christ like and God would bless you for that. When some one or some group do you some injustices it really is hard to forgive them and you can’t do it within your own sinful self, you have to have help from God. I know, because I have been there, and I believe that the most of you have been there as well.

Thank God that I do not have any trespasses against any one or any group of people in my life I have prayed and have had a lot of help from God and have forgiven ever person that I have ever wronged and ever person that has wronged me, what a glorious feeling to feel free of that sin. This is a little scripture that the bible says about forgiveness.

Matthew 6:14 - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 18:21 - Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven.
Luke 17:3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother tresspass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
I hereby encourage any one that has any tresapasses against any one to repent and forgige them today.—John

Thought For Today April 3rd 2011

Here's my latest update on RFP. He is still in ICU and while the breathing tube has been removed and he is breathing on his own, he is very confused and does not seem to be aware of what is going on. The kidney function is still a concern. He will definitely remain in ICU another day.

I am planning on coming to Renaissance at some point tomorrow(Monday) and getting his apt tidied up for me to stay there some while he is hospitalized. Sandra is keeping close tabs on him today and there is really not much we can do but pray for God's grace and mercy for him. I know that is all he would ask us to do.

I'll let you know if there is any change.

Thought For Today

This is Friday April 1st -2011.

April 1st is the dedicated day for the atheist fools holy day. The bible states if no person believes in God is a fool

This is our thought for today if any person that doe’s not know God or love him, or believe in him. And trust him then they are a complete fool. The dictionary describes an atheist as a person that denies God as a supreme being. The dictionary describes a fool as being a weak-minded idiot person, a person being tricked and deceived about God. A silly stupid person that lacks judgment from God.

The bible has this to say about an atheist and fools

¶ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand

The birth of John The Baptist

There was nothing needed to be add to this story

Introduction
1Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilleda among us, 2just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
The Birth of John the Baptist Foretold
5In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. 6Both of them were upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commandments and regulations blamelessly. 7But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren; and they were both well along in years.
8Once when Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God, 9he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense. 10And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.
11Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. 12When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. 13But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John. 14He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth.b 16Many of the people of Israel will he bring back to the Lord their God. 17And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
18Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”
19The angel answered, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time.”
21Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he stayed so long in the temple. 22When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.
23When his time of service was completed, he returned home. 24After this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. 25“The Lord has done this for me,” she said. “In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”
The Birth of Jesus Foretold
26In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”
34“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
35The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be calledc the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. 37For nothing is impossible with God.”
38“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her.
Mary Visits Elizabeth
39At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!”
NIV> Luke 1- 1-45
